National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is a government-run social security scheme aimed at providing financial security to employees in Kenya. The NSSF registration process is a straightforward process that can be completed online through the NSSF portal.

Step 1: Prepare Your Personal Information

Before you can register for NSSF online, you need to have the following information ready:

Personal details 

National ID number or passport number, name, address, date of birth, birth certificate number, KRA PIN, telephone, email, mother’s first name employment information, including current job and employer details.

Home details

Physical address, postal code, telephone, email, county, sub-county, district, location and sub-location, street name, village and estate.

Step 2: Visit the NSSF Portal

To begin the NSSF registration process, visit the NSSF portal at https://www.nssf.or.ke/. On the homepage, you will see a button labeled “Member Registration.” Click on the button to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Complete the Online Registration Form

The next step is to complete the online registration form. This form will ask you to provide the personal and employment information listed above. Be sure to fill in all the fields accurately and completely, as this information will be used to set up your NSSF account.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents
